Braving the weather and eventually fleeing from it when it snowed, I spent a couple of days in the Highlands photographing this stunning and unusual house in the Highlands by Paper Igloo Architecture & Design. The three buildings one of which was an existing cottage are linked by glazed bridges and offer considered views out to the stunning landscape at every opportunity. It was a joy to photograph this house not only as Mhairi and Martin were so welcoming, but also because the detailing and juxtaposition of the different materials used throughout are wonderful and I loved the corten steel tower. To add even more character into the mix one of the buildings wraps itself around an existing 100 year old apple tree!
